I like how it comes with Windows XP instead of Vista after all that DX10 bullshit surrounding the first game.

Also lol 1 year warranty.
No I wouldn't, even if just because of that.

What would keep me from buying all those parts separately and building it myself for less?

And yes, I am a Jew.

So, Apple has made a vague reference to a "product transition" that will occur before the end of September.

What do you suppose it is? xMac?

>> No.2

Its a small lower power POWER based portable device. Looks very nice.

>> No.3

mid range tower?

thatd be dope, similar to mac mini specs but with room to easily install hard drives, graphics cards, ram, optical drives, pci cards. in a nice apple designed case.

They would also supply a disk with a large amount of drivers for various products.

>>2 POWER based portable device
When the Apple tech reps came to campus in March, they were pretty clear that the "G" processors were not to be spoken of. I did find it interesting that they didn't say "PPC" or "Power." That said, we haven't seen any recent offerings from IBM that look any more suitable for desktops than the G5s were, and the Cell is still unsuitable for much more than gaming, Yellow Fail Linux notwithstanding.

Hotsauce revived?

>> No.8

It'll be Apple's transition to faeces-based products. The first will be the iPoop Pro, which consists of 50 grams of an Apple Engineer's droppings, encased in white polycarbonate.

There will be a gold edition, where 20 grams is substituted with Steve Jobs' cargo. It'll sell for three times as much as the first, and demand will far outstrip the supply.

Good logo. Good name. The best name I've seen on processors. But I prefer AMD.

I plugged my flash drive into a college computer and the light blinked once and it said error installing hardware. unplug it, take it home, and when i plug it into my computer it doesn't work! plugged it into three different computers, and none of them worked! its not corrupted, and its not magnetized, seeing as all my blood cells still have their iron and i'm alive.

Why is this place so dead?

>> No.3

I'm using a DVI to VGA adapter and my CRT monitor does only show a refreshing rate of 60Hz.

I tried to config my xorg.conf and Linux shows a 1024@85Hz mode I can switch to but the monitor still stays on 60Hz.

How do I config my "DVI to VGA" right, so Linux doesn't think I'm using a TFT?

Pic is my monitor. It's a 17-inch yakumo.
