I have no idea WTF is going on. Sometimes I can't access some image boards, today it's 4chan.

Whenever I try to go there, I get half-loaded page of just text, and when I try to go to a specific board the page is blank.

A few time this has happened here, but usually it's 4 chan.

WTF?? How can I prevent this?

>> No.2

maybe host the mirror site

>> No.3

Maybe try archive.org?

>> No.4

Just refresh once or twice. Happens to me sometimes.

I'm guessing it happens when your browser forgets to load the stylesheet or something. Thus, you get the whole page, but no style to go with it. I could be wrong, though.

If it's for a website that you visit all the time, you should consider hosting the stylesheet locally, as it saves bandwidth on something that isn't likely to change.

No...today is one of those days the servers were turned off, I suspect abuse or a massive DDoS attack.

Smartphones- the good, the bad, and the ugly.

>> No.2

is low-middle one of those that look like N-series but are not?

>> No.3

i love my n95 :D

>> No.4

The low middle one is an E65. Decent enough phone wifi etc, but no idea how it compares with any of the n series phones. And if OP was classing it as the bad, it is at least 3-4 years old,

>> No.5

Why aren't there any good phones in this pic? Droid Incredible, Nexus One, Desire, anything? Come on.

just a general question, i have only one hard drive in my pc but i have a few laptop hard drives lying around of good size. my question is can i since they are sata, connect them in my pc and use them? do they operate on same voltages and stuff?

>> No.2

As long your power supply is enough. It is fine. I did it before.

>> No.3

Yes. Laptop and Desktop SATA drives use the same power and data connections. You should be able to plug one into the other (cable length and power supply issues aside) with no problems.

>> No.4

The previous two posters have already answered your question, but I would like to reassure you that yes, this will work without problems.

as the three previous posters asserted, yes, this is possible. I myself am using an old laptop drive as an external. Mostly I keep my porn on it.

You will also want to make sure that you have enough power.

>> No.6

YES you can do that. you can even purchase devices that you slip your laptop sata into so that it will fit into the harddrive bay on your pc

>> No.7

yep. hard drive im runnin off of right now is a SATA out of a spare laptop.

the machine may be progamed to receive and process the information of a sensor "fell" but animals do it too

>> No.2

I think you mean "feel" not "fell" or are you trolling us?
"fell" is when someone is falling, then you can say they fell.
And yes I do think machines will be able to feel but right now its way to much information for a computer to feel anything.

>> No.3

machines ust don't have enough nano transistors :D

>> No.5

Computers could already feel right now if they wanted to.
But currently we don't (publicly at least) have any computer with the brain required to interpret it in the same way even the simplest of brains can.

We can simulate it pretty easily though.

Right now, no. But in the future, maybe. It's a dream for now.

But I believe, that someday, machines can love and feel like humans can. For now, I'll just keep watching Chobits and Wall-E.

It means you have overcharged the flux capacitor. Take it out and realign the positron plates.
